Going Home, Transylvanian Shepherd

During a long drive from a small town in Eastern Romania, to the central region of that country, with destination Brasov (formerly Stalin), we came up a fairly steep winding road and encountered this herd and it’s shepherd in the foothills of the Transylvanian Alps. The sun warmed the hills with its last rays letting the night fill the valleys of those peeks, some of the highest in the region, when my wife said “I don’t have a pictures of a shepherd yet!” Our conductor (friend) stopped the car, I jumped out and grabbed a mere three frames with her camera that is outfitted with a modest digital zoom.We then all delighted in the this exquisite moment!
