Ernie’s photo

Still trying to get used to that “focus peaking” from the Sonny with legacy lenses. We were out on a shoot and I was curious what would come out of it all. This shot was taken at ISO 400 and at a shutter speed of 125. I did some minor digital retouching of physical features, converted the image to b+w, split toned it in Lightroom 5.2 and gave it a tad of sharpening in Gib 2. I don’t know if I will get my D600! This is sharp enough for me. Using the full sensor in the NEX 7 would give this picture a dimension of approximately 20 x 30 inches; and you can stick your nose in it!
